So I know I'm a bit late to this one...

But finally got around to Guacamelee Super Tuber Championship edition.

Gotta say, I am loving the retro humor. Besides the obvious Street Fighter Parodies, I am (pleasantly)surprised that they are able to pull off such blatant mockeries of past franchises. Mario, Castle Crashers, and...is that the Castlevania : Rondo Hellhound chasing me around in the Temple?!!!

Pure awesomeness!

Jazzyvania: Symphonies of the Knight now available on CD/ Digital platforms! Groove on!

I enjoyed Guacamelee, and I appreciated the homages, but at the end of the day I thought it felt shallow.  The world didn't suck me in as much as most Metroidvanias.
