Get yourself an iron golem soul. Well, I hope, I can manage to finish R/M lv1 cap before the release.

You know we sometimes get Cv games in the U.S. BEFORE they are released in Japan?

From what I know, it only happened once.  That was with the Dracula X Chronicles.  The reason is that it is a remake of an older game that was never released in the US.  Thus, the US got it first.  At least, that's what I think.

I just remembered that DoS was released a month or so _earlier_ than announced, at least in the EU. Dunno why though.

Yeah, Dawn of Sorrow was released on September 30th in Europe, and then on October 4th in the US. I wonder why?

Well, that proves that there's still hope for Europe's release dates. It would be weird if they got Judgment or Ecclesia before us! :o

I reserved it Gamestop today.  They said it comes out October 21st, (22nd since the game usually comes a day later unless it's street dated) unless the date gets pushed back or up. Since the Japanese one comes out the 23rd, I guess there's no reason for me to import it this time.  :'(

I wondering what she's saying to Albus here.

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

Good luck with Gamestop. I can't say the Gamestop near where I live is reliable at all with stuff like this. Don't they sometimes make up false release dates to get people to reserve stuff?

Remember Aria of Sorrow's release date:
USA: May 6, 2003
Japan: May 8, 2003
Europe: May 9, 2003

Japan doesn't always get games first. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes was released in EU and US first, then, later "Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes" was released in Japan. Metroid Fusion was released even a year or so later, but with some bonuses such as a gallery like in Zero Mission and a hard mode. Arses.

I'm guessing it largely reflects the market. The Castlevania is more popular here than Japan. I think it generally companies push to have games released roughly the same time to combat importing.

Actually, they have a reserve book, where you can look up the game by system and it says the release date right by it.  Though they were nice enough to explain that unless it's got SD (Street Date) beside the name of the game, the date is always subject to change, and to expect the game the day after it says in the book. (Like if it says the 24th, expect it on the 25th.)

I have three near my home, but I only go to that one because the service is great and the people actually like their job and know what they are doing. (I was surprised too.)  ;D
