Lots of new info this time around so that's cool. Interesting stuff:
-The picture with Laura is only making me believe more that Barlowe is in fact, a bad guy. Either that or the entire village is twisted and in fact, they are all servants of Dracula and Albus captured them in an event to keep them from stopping him. Yeah. I'll go with the former. Though I'm also happy they decided to go with the better art direction in this game. It really stands out IMO.
-Iga's interview:
-So you can either beat Hard Mode on OoE or just wait until Judgment comes out and cheat to get the level up thing he was talking about that way. (Though you'd have to wait longer.) I hope there are more unlockables than that. I was under the impression that new items would be unlockable as well.
-So Albus WAS suppose to get the weapon first but for reasons unknown, Barlowe gave it Shanoa. So many theories now:
1. Barlowe is evil and somehow if Shanoa uses it, it will simply backfire, giving Dracula the way and means to destory the only weapon (since the Belmonts and the VK are MIA) that can defeat him at this point and time. (Assuming that there was no other way Albus could do it or produce a weapon strong enough to do so.) Albus figured this out and decided to take the weapon, knowing he could use it and actually defeat Dracula with it.
2. Barlowe isn't exactly evil, but maybe in order to use it, you have to sacrifice your life or something just to do it (kinda like the VK for the Morris family, just more immediate) and knowing this, he'd much rather have Shanoa (who was raised and used like a weapon anyway) use it than his favored pupil Albus. But Albus finds this out (that it can kill her) and because of whatever feelings he has in reguards to her (maybe it's a 'sibling' kind of love or 'girlfriend' kind, dunno, but Barlowe certainly hints at something like that at the beginning, as did Nintendo about their relationship...) he chose to take the weapon and use it himself, just like he was suppose to in the first place. Hence maybe why Barlowe (probably already knowing that Albus' intentions were just but wants Shanoa to go after him anyway and not let her know about his 'betrayal') told her to bring Albus back, unharmed if she could.
3. Albus is just a jealous asshole who is pretending to care about Shanoa and seem like he's really a 'good guy' at heart, only to betray her when it's convenient for him and his master Dracula.
...Too much time on my hands. Yeah...
-The game over screen is nice.
-I too noticed the 96% rate, but I think it might be for each stage/map. Wasn't that the same way PoR was with the portrait? Each one could get to 100% upon completing it?
-I like all the new glyphs, can't wait to play around with them.
-I like that there are a few little puzzles and platforming in the game (like the underwater air-balloon? that's used to blow up rocks, or having to clear a room of spikes, or clearing a room via platforming and evading an invisible stallion demon thingy.)
The Music:
I like that themes for this game seems to show that Yamane is branching out.
You know, for a 'water' theme, the ocean stage music was different. I'm use to it being almost somber and low key usually, esp. by M.Yamane. That being said: I really REALLY like that damn theme. It's still slightly low key but I loved the beat in the song.
The 'intro' song for each stage is pretty sweet too. It's nice to hear a little creepy intro other than just 'door creaking open' to a new stage.
The game over music is nice, the little that got hear of it.
Tymeo Mountains: Is now my favorite song to date for this game. I mean I really liked the song in the second trailer, then I liked Jet's Wing but this is my "Mortvia Aqueduct" for this game: I just loved it as soon as I heard it. I feel better about buying the special edition now.

This game is shaping up to be pretty damn sweet. October 22nd isn't getting her fast enough.
