I see the guy playing is afraid of Skeletons. I guess the addition of treasure chests is kind neat too. I do like some of the new monsters.

the outside of the monastery looked pretty nice, but then the inside seemed bland and repetitive. at least the layers finally seem to move like they should after the previous poor attempt.

the guy kinda sucks at platformers too. :o

Well the main hub area is very similar to the first portait of por.. that sucks. Looks like Shanoa will have some cool combo techniques.

And why the hell did they have to add those stupid arrows for everything. We've been playing cv for years, we know how to enter and leave rooms! Come on, IGA..

So far the game looks ok. I'm concerned whether this will be the best of the DS games or just be a remixed PoR.

Looks awesome. Glad to see the background budget has been increased significantly from PoR, where I'm sure some of the artists were paid a beer and a cheeseburger.

Yeah, that area outside the Monestary was stunning. But then it got bland. The music is all cool though. and I like the way that world map works. This wil definetely be interesting.

There isn't going to be a new CV for the Wii...Ecclesia is just going to have features on it, which can be linked to Wii.What comes into mind first, is the map-edior stuff they started to de velop as early as with DoS, and PoR took the idea even further, but still failed at this. Maybe this round around, they will make it. And maybe a Wii-playable vers. for the Wii, now that would be sugoi!  :D

How do you know this? Did we get some sort of confirmation?

Because the goal of other DS Castlevanias was to have Wii-support, and this time it might actually happen, just like how GBA vanted to have GC support with i.e. Zelda four swords. it'S ludacris to be hoping for a Wii-Castlevania. Not happenin g now, or ever, when the homeconsoles have steered away from 2D mainstream gaming like almost 10 years now, and basically letting the hanhelds to the good ole sprite based action.

Meh, you're probably right. The best we can hope for is an improved WiiWare port of Order of Shadows, and even that is unlikely.

Who said a wii game had to be 2-D?  Stop pulling stuff out of nowhere.  There have already been 4 3-D console games.

IGA's starting to program again? I heard he's just the producer for this title. It's been like what, eleven years since he last programmed a Castlevania game? Nice find.

Hey, it was probably his idea to add those arrows. You never know. I just think it distracts from the flow of the game.

Also, in the beginning of the Monastery, it woulda been nice if they made wind physics. like as Shanoa's running the trees sway in a soft breeze, meanwhile leaves scatter all around. That woulda looked nice, instead of everything being completely still and motionless with no life.

No, actually it probably wasn't.  And that level design is some of the most beautiful this series has ever had.  Why do you have to hunt for things to complain about?
