Anyway, Portrait of Ruin sucked.

Well I don't think it outright sucked. It just wasn't what I was expecting it to be, and it never became more that what it started out as. It can still be fun, as far as a Metroidvania goes.

I can totally understand people plain not liking it, based on its flaws. They weren't enough to ruin it for me though.

But yeah I hate Charlotte and Jon-boy and all the other characters. 'Cept maybe Stella cuz... she's pretty hawt.

Speaking of touch screens, have you heard any touch screen-involved information for Order of Ecclesia?

IGA said he will not be using it this time (or not in any noticeable way).

I dunno, where POR is concerned, it's touch screen capabilites did make getting around the menus easier.

I just don't like the touch screen in Castlevania, especially for Dawn of Sorrow.

Yeah that grew annoying. But I bet Nintendo forced them to include it that first time; back when they were making the case for DS' existence.

Well I doubt they could really force them to, but I bet it was highly suggested, anyway.

Sad Face....Iga should try to get his 3d's back up because they have so much potential and he is falling back to 2d. I like 2d but I prefer 3d any day. The only problem Iga had in the 3d games was textures, havoc, and castle layout. And I want him to start explaining things more! So many secrets that I dont want to have to beat out of him, he is like a little brother that wont tell you that he went though your "Special Box".

it was ok as a platformer, though uninspired and with boring level design. it just didn't feel like castlevania, more like some random cartoon turned into game. so it sucked as castlevania, but as a game it was passable, there are far worse games.

though this is a cv forum/community/fandom, so obviously the "as a castlevania" counts much more here. :o

Well, as much as I'm glad there won't be as many, if any, touch screen uses, I'd really love to see a 3D Castlevania game. If they were to make one, which system do you think it would be for? I hope Wii for my sake...

We'll never get anything more than a failed fighting game for the Wii, from KCET.

If there is to be another 3D release it will be on the higher-tech next-gens. But I hope IGA isn't the one in charge of it.
