The problem is it wouldn't fit in with Bram Stoker's Dracula if he was Quincey, would it? o_O
it's not like bram stoker's dracula had vampire killer or a family that hunted dracula for almost 1000 years.

i really don't think if that time period is ever made into a game, it'll be any similar to the original novel.

Hmm...what year did Bram Stoker's "Dracula" occur in, again? I wonder if there's enough time for Shanoa and Albus to make a baby Quincy, at least if Albus really is a Morris. n_n

1876 I believe... maybe 71 or 91 or 96... yeah it was one of those years. And depending on what year this takes place, It is possible, and actually likely. There's no way Albus is Quincy, he'd be too old. But I also don't think it's a cade name. We don't know his last name, so it's possible that he really is Albus Morris.

Bram Stoker's novel was published in 1897, which is also the same year used for it's entry on the CV timeline.

If Shanoa was a Renard she would be able to use the VK in the same way that the Morris's can.  So that could go with my theory of dominus being the vk and Albus taking it because he knows it could kill her.

I agree, if it's mainly about love that'll be a gigantic disappointment. Personally I hope they really delve into the belmonts giving/losing the whip.

My theory is that Albus is a Morris. he certainly looks the part of a Texas Gunslinger. Maybe he Steals "Dominus" to give him the power to carry out the duty he's been charged with, and maybe Shanoa is the mother of Quincey, depending on OOE's place in the timeline.

(like someone else has said, I highly doubt the Novel is the actual representation of 1897 in Castlevania I have no doubt that Harker, Mina and Van Helsing would still be involved somehow, but this is to be one of Drac's normal ressurections, where he's at greater power.)

OR, Albus could also be a Lecarde, and the Dominus may be what allows the Lecardes to Summon the Power of the Vampire Killer.

And I'm hoping it won't be maily about that. Though this does seem to add up, I don't think Iga will really go ith anything we're saying. Here's his story:
Shanoa is a Belmont. Albus is just a guy. He is under Dracula's mind control(sound familiar?) Shanoa kills him= bad ending. Shanoa goes out of her way to save a guy who probably attempted to kill many times= good happy ending. Unless you lose to the big mass of garbage in the crazy twisted world. But after you win, Shanoa continues on the Belmont Lagacy, yadda yadda yaddda. I guarentee we'll get some overused crap like that.

yeah but wouldn't that go against the belmonts handing off the whip though?, one would assume that'd mean they would let others deal with demon castle like the morrises and just be there as backup. Personally I want a kickass protagonist that ain't gonna be soft and spare anybody who's out to kill her like Iron Man. You fuck with him, you die.

Yeah, I kinda knew that. Didn't say I wanted it, but knowing the way things have been going lately, I'm certain we'll get a lame, self-contradicting story like that.

As much as I want to say something optimistic like "You never know, it might be something totally unexpected! ;D" or "I doubt it, Iga's more clever than that! ;D" but the sad truth is, you're probably right... :'(

Well, let's hope for the best.

yeah, that'd be something if that was in the game. y'know this may actually be a good policy thinkin' about it. as much as I hate bad castlevania games if they  Make a shitty ass game for the insanely casual retarded gamers who only go off first looks and another really great game at the same time so Konami can make money and Iga can make what he wants, everybody wins, and the best part is if he wants to do another 2d one for a console in this day an age it'd be incredibly cheap and konami could easily make their money back, especially if it was put up on Xbox live or PS3/2 online.
