I got my own Christmas stuff this year:
SFC - Ryuuko No Ken aka Art of Fighting
PS1 - Capcom Vs SNK Pro, Japanese edition, sadly has a lockout that you can't get around, even with a boot disc, playable in ePSXe, so not a total loss.
King of Fighters 97 - another one I have to play in emulation, my PS2 hates the disc, makes loud noises and freezes, does this with no other game I own.
Samurai Shodown 4 Special - worst port of the 4th game, yet oddly still fun, compliments my Saturn copy of 4, and my PS2 copy of Sam Sho Anthology (plays well in my fliptop modded PS2, with Gameshark boot disc, allows me to bypass region on PS1 games)
Last Blade - Plays flawlessly in my PS2, quite literally IMO, SNK's best PS1 port, besides KoF 98 (which I also own)
PS2:
Last Blade 1 and 2 - people talk a lot of trash about slowdown and framerate being bad in this collection, my question is, where's the slowdown and framerate loss. Another complaint from fans is, the games both play slower than the arcade versions, and I'm here to say, they play the exact same. Very nice collection, and both games can be played in English, despite it being a Japan only release from years ago.
All in all, despite 2 games having issues, and me still being able to play them (another will be a future purchase, KoF 95 on Saturn, which uses a ROM cart. My Saturn is a US one, and I won't cart swap, but SSF has an option for a built in ROM cart on the emulator for the game) on emulator is fine. The Last Blade games, including the collection, looks nice next to my copy of Garou MotW on PS2 (which is a reprint, and has no Just Defended text missing like the original PS2 release).
