SOTN had a CD Sampler first.
A wild Ralph appears.
Wild Ralph uses Teleport.

What r u talking 'bout?

The trailers for Dawn had higher-quality versions of songs than what were featured in the final game, including "The Pinnacle."

I thought DoS's trailer music wasn't really that good, personally. Pitch Black Intrusion in particular was kind of kiddy.

Hmm... but didn't the official OST have high-quality recordings again? Sure sound good to me. I was really impressed.

Not so much, however, with how they ported the AOS soundtrack. YUCK! Sounded no better than the GBA's tiny speakers.

No, they didn't put any on the OST release.

In Reply To All, regarding DoS Unreleased tracks

In summary, so we can get back on topic here..

(And yes, Azmodan that is what I was referring to)
Personally when I first heard the Lost Village theme in the trailer I remember that the first thoughts in my mind were, "Wow..this sounds exactly like SOTN music.." And I was amazed..and still am..haha. :(

Damn you Konami...

BUT YES..I have been checking the OoE site daily to see if there are any updates...grr..I want my explosion of wallpapers already! Hah.

:)

He's talking about the original version of pinnacle that play's on the trailer!

The trailer for Aria had a specially arranged version of "Chapel" that we never saw, either.

(It also had a different version of "Ruined Castle Corridor," but it was actually worse than what was in the final game. Kind of like how every new trailer for Portrait up until its release seemed to feature "Invitation of a Crazed Moon" in a different stage of development.)

I don't get it though, if you're ripping it from a trailer, won't it be low quality anyways?

I'm just wandering, why Konami didn't release and the rest arranged versions of OST! Instead of them, they released a CD with the crappy quality from GBA! :P

Because arranging a game's entire soundtrack would have taken more time and money than they were willing to spend on something like that.  Even in Japan, game soundtracks aren't that profitable, so be thankful they get released at all.

The version of "Chapel" in the Aria trailer is different from "Requiem for the Black Souls" on Lament's soundtrack. There's also the arranged version of "Dreamlike Palace" from the Aria soundtrack.  So, you could say there are at least five arranged tracks.

I havent notice that the version of "Chapel" from the trailer is different from the one at the game and the arranged version. Also the "Dreamlike Palace" track from what CD is it? I don't remember if i have heard it!
