Vampire Killer was made only for the MSX home computer. The structure of the game was very different from previous Castlevania games. Although it certainly looks like the original Castlevania, it plays very differently. Rather than the linear structure, you have are presented with a section of the castle. You can't move onto the next sextion until you find the white key, hidden somewhere in the bricks. There are small treasure chests lying around that you need keys for, as well as merchants that sell objects to you.
