Just a question that's been bubbling in my head for some time. A lot of things can affect who we consider the "iconic Belmont", but in my experience it usually boils down to Simon, Ralph/Trevor, or Richter, as they've been the most recurrent Belmonts across numerous titles. Gabriel might also count as Lords of Shadow introduced a lot of new fans to the saga.
For my money, it will always be Simon. The original and genuine article who in my mind originates and defines everything that it means to be a Belmont. Even if the precise number of adventures he actually had is occasionally called into question, there's no doubting that this big guy is my most iconic Belmont and the first bloke I think of when I hear the word "Belmont".
