I sometimes wonder what that weeping woman was so sad about,
perhaps Lisa's spirit

She was lamenting the future of Castlevania at the hands of David Cox.

But there were two, a good lady and a bad lady. .... The bad lady kinda makes you wonder....   ;) Either way, I think it was just some tramp. If it was Lisa, Drac would be all over that confessional booth.

I highly doubt it's Lisa. More 'n less it's just another one of those interesting game gimmics that helped add to SotN's charm. But if she were to actually mean something within the game then I'd say she's nothing more then a lost soul. Just one of many whom haunt Castlevania's corridors out of hate or regret; hence her sad side and her wicked side. And of course we also have the chapel priest who is similar except sometimes his good side will drop some food for you.

Religion is Man's flawed interpretation of Spirituality given back to humanity..."

Yeah, the confessional was one thing I really enjoyed about SoTN. Maybe the lady isn't Lisa, but I do wonder who the priest is...

I kinda wonder if the two are related. The sad lady seeks the good priest for consultation. The priest is wicked and makes advances at her. She spurns him, so he kills her. Her spirit cannot rest and seeks vengeance. By sitting in the priest's side of the confessional, her spirit tries to take it out on Alucard.

Do ghost women have ghost nipples?

That's the pressing question I have right now as a result of this topic.

LMAO!!!

I doubt it's Lisa. Probably just a random female spirit trapped in the castle. Perhaps a woman used as a sacrifice in a previous resurrection of Dracula.

If the woman was a spirit that is trapped in the castle, then so must be the priest.

That confessional is possibly one of the most haunting moments in any CV game IMO. For me it's partially because there's  really no info on it, you're invited to draw your own conclusions.

And that church bell makes it even creepier.

you got that right! The music in there is super creepy! The Chapel is definitely my favorite area of SoTN. The music in there is among my favorite tunes in just about any CV game.

Wow... the +10 in the Super Waffle post must be a record in this forum.
It's like the 10-0 Spain's national soccer team score last weekend against Tahiti.
Let's make it +11 Waffle, you have my vote  :)
