The complaints about "lack of color" when bandied about as objective criticism are amusingly dumb, though.
I was complaining about it in Fallout 3 and NV because it just irked me, it's not the colors that detracted much from the game but rather the gameplay itself and just how dull the world felt to me. The shooting felt too loose and imprecise and I had to end up leaning on VATS often, way more than I wanted to since it is also important to conserve your AP. Maybe it's me just sucking at the game, but it just wasn't for me.

I'm playing Fallout 2, and I'm totally addicted. It's like an RPG, but for adults.
No magic or wizards or "save the princess" quests or any of that crap.
Instead, you've got a dark, post-apocalyptic world filled with drugs, gangsters, whores and slave traders.
Nobody gives a damn about you and with the wrong choice of actions you'd very quickly be dead.

The thing I like most about the game is the realistic approach the game picks.  You are not limited in any way. You could help people and complete quests or kill everyone you meet. No "you can't attack him 'cus he's a good guy" bollocks. Your ally NPCs die and you want to resurrect them? Well, you can't. But you can kill them yourself or sell them as slaves.
The game gives you almost no limitations. Now that's really awesome.

I see.... magic and wizards automatically means kiddy... I guess Bible Black is kiddy too huh?

I'm really getting a sense of anti-western games mind around in the forum these days but I hope I'm wrong.
No doubt, Fallout 3 is a great experience for what it is (Don't expectshiny graphics or epic boss battles), I can live without new vegas though, it felt too amateurish for my tastes (obsidian obviously)

Everything comes full circle

If you're refering to me, then no... I'm not. I am more inclined, probably, towards japanese rpgs, but I do like Dragon Age, though not it's story. I liked Neverwinter, Diablo, and such.

That said, Fall Out 3 sucks imo, I could not get into it at all. Oblivion was okay for abit, but it got boring pretty fast too imo. I need Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2... waiting sucks.

Honestly, people have their tastes. Possibly a good amount of people on this forum like JRPGs. I like both western and jrpgs equally, like Kale though I just disliked 3 and loved the hell outta the first 2 along with Tactics, which is pretty under looked.
