Nostalgic Music from Konami
I find this episode interesting.
3 songs that you must listen to:
1. Ganbare Goemon 2 ending theme by Michiru Yamane
This was listed on screen: Famous for the Akumajou series. Other works include Datana!!!Twin Bee (AC), Ganbare Goemon 2 (FC), etc. She is also listed as ChiruChiru Yamane, she also uses other names.
Yamane-san is on air via phone
She says that the Goemon 2 ending theme was supposed to be a stage bgm.
Since everyone including the MC associates Yamane with the Akumajou series, the MC asked her to choose a song from the Akumajou series that she likes and can fit in the retro era, she chose one song from Vampire Killer (Castlevania: Bloodlines)- The Prayer of a Tragic Queen (after this was played, they were commenting that this could fit in SotN)
She started here with the Akumajou series. She said it herself on the phone.
There, Pfil, that's your answer.Fujio Sukenomiya and Yamane started working together in the Olympic game.
2. Exciting Billards BGM by Fujio Sukenomiya
They were introducing the bgms that were playing all throughout the show.
As for the Akumajou series, Lost painting was included and so is a tune from Dracula-kun
3. XEXEX's Breeze by Motoaki Furukawa - Leader of Kukeiha Club
Furukawa is on air via phone too.
He also gave another song and he chose Burning Heat from Gradius 2
He also worked with Fujio with Twinbee 3. Furukawa created main song in 3 hours. Fujio adds that that was the fastest composition in KKC.
Some announcements from Konami Style
1. Gradius Ultimate Collection
Konami Shooting Collection
They featured a bgm you can't get anywhere. This is from Vic Viper (AC), a racing game that was cancelled. And this is included in the Shooting Collection.
Furukawa also composed this.
