God of War Ascension PS3 Teaser Trailer

Looks like it's gonna be another prequel.. a bit disappointing but i'm sure gameplay will be fun regardless

Shame it's another prequel, we've already established the fact that Kratos is a angry motherfucka. I'll end up buying it anyway since im a fan.

Well we've only ever seen Kratos' past through the means of flashbacks and cutscenes. We've never actually played as Kratos before he became the ghost of Sparta. I think it would be interesting to play Kratos as just a regular Spartan soldier for once.

I´m with X on this one.

Besides, I´m really hoping this will take place before he will be a servant of Ares. What I really liked about GoS were the Arms of Sparta... finally a good weapon besides the blades of chaos. So hopefully, they would be your main weapon plus that sword Kratos uses during those flashbacks. It would make a nice change, imo.

But yeah, as if. We´ll probably play as Kratos as he serves Ares, but before he becomes the Ghost.

As long as Kratos isn't Ranting how Everyone and everything betrays him like GoW3, I'll be okay with it.
The PSP titles were good, and I wonder how a lil co-op action will work in GoW.

Kinda disappointed that a prequel will mean he'll be downgraded from "Destroyer of Gods" to "A Pretty Cool Guy," but I'm still curious how it'll turn out. Still have to get Ghost of Sparta (and a new PSP battery, dammit) before this comes out, though.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

You can always get your hands on the GoW PSP collection for the PS3. It's much easier to play those games on the console then it is on the PSP. That is of course if you have a PS3  ;D

I'm looking forward to this. I kinda wish it weren't a prequel because I feel we already got that with the psp games. but either way it's gonna be a great game.

Buying. That is all.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

I wonder how well the combat works in multiplayer, considering I don't even like it in singleplayer.
