Wouldn't the castle still be Walter's at this point in the timeline? Im sure theres a bunch of other castles in the medieval times and the just wanted to hint at that. I mean Celia and her peeps made a new Castle in DoS so i think its safe to assume that since that game would be a year later, its hinting at a new castle being built during this time? maybe?

Walter's Castle Crumbled when Walter died. There's nothing to suggest that Walter's Castle was taken over by Mathias. Given LoI's Names, the setting seems to suggest France or some other classical European setting. After which the Belmonts chased Dracula's scent down to Romania, and became outcasts there, due to their powers.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

Damn. I really hope LoS 2 gives Julius his backstory. I know that should answer lots of questions

......you do realize that LOS is NOT a part of the original timeline right?

So that means that it will not answer any questions.

If Julius is in LOS2 (which I think he will be) he will be a new Julius with a different story rather than the old one from the original timeline.

^^ That.

And also, I am hoping that this entirely new Julius, if ever they used his character, should not have his character haphazardly written.

Regarding the IGA timeline Julius, well, it is best to leave his background to your imagination until the 1999 battle of IGA comes into fruition.

I know it isnt canon. Im just saying any official game could give the story some fanfare. I mean every discussion is left to interpretation so just let the story that deviates from the original tell it. thats all

Nice tributes to Aria of Sorrow. It's one of the best Castlevania games, in my opinion. Cool to see it get the attention : )

The downsampled Dracula sprite still looks a bit too RoB-ish with the high color contrast compared to Soma. That's the only nitpick I have for this batch.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

I dig these pictures.
The weirdness with Castlevania in the background of the Julius battle is a little jarring... but then again, I've played DraculaXX, where the castle is in the background of the final stage, which takes place IN THE CASTLE!
