Four pages and Jorge is the only one who's mentioned No More Heroes? Everyone who has access to a Wii oughta play through that, it's loads of fun.
Plus, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is a buttload of fun. Sure, it's a port of two games, and they probably play better on other consoles with a lightgun, but it's inexpensive and fun nonetheless. I really hope that House of the Dead 1 and 4 make their way to the Wii, as well as more exclusive rail-shooters, like Umbrella Chronicles...but better, since that game wasn't so hot.
Also, Elebits. Forget what the critics say, that game is a blast. Once I beat it, I've got Dewy's Adventure waiting for me, another game by the same developers.
I need to pick up Zack & Wiki soon before it disappears into obscurity and costs a ton.
As I've gotten older, I've found myself having less patience to really get good at a game, and also even to beat the ones that aren't that difficult. Takes too much time a lot of times--"serious" games have become so lengthy and bullshitty to have to sit through, one of the reasons I dislike RPGs (aside from the fact I'm terrible at them). I'm not the gamer I once was, and any of the difficult games I bust my ass over are ones I'm familiar with and have beaten time and time again. I just get bored with so many newer games, but the ones where I kind of just sit back and take everything in and don't have much trouble playing through are the ones I enjoy most nowadays. I had a much more fun time playing through Hotel Dusk than with most other games I've picked up in the past few years.
For the record, I thought Mario Galaxy was freagin' amazing and, along with Sin & Punishment, was my reason for buying the Wii when I did last November. Both were well worth the purchase alone.
Also, I find it hilarious that members of a Castlevania message board are whining about shitty/easy/accessible/"casual" games, considering everything that's come out after SOTN has been terrible (aside from the N64 games, which I personally enjoyed), and they're all easy enough to be finished without breaking a sweat, including SOTN. Which, in the case of SOTN, is no detraction for me personally, considering I've been more enthralled by atmosphere and visuals than ball-busting gameplay in recent years, but those other games are just terrible--bad designs, bad music, really boring gameplay, etc.
