Trust us, the SotN you're thinking of is for the Saturn. There was however a Castlevania game being developed for the Dreamcast; Castlevania Resurrection, but it was cancelled.

The countess? You mean Elisabeth Bartley? She was in Castlevania Bloodlines on the Sega Genesis, not in Castlevania Resurrection as far as I know. But I really don't remember what the Resurrection game was going to be about, except time traveling.

SotN never was released for Dreamcast. Only versions we know of are the ps-x version, saturn version, 360 version, DXC, the cancelled game.com version, and the extremely rare Tiger portable version.

Um... are you suggesting that a rare species of scorpion-donkeys have their own version on some uncharted island somewhere?

Yep, for reason's I still don't understand when it comes to videogames and movies for the most part Americans don't like to put in the time to do good dubs and take like 4 mins and just crappily dub over the original almost always great performances with crap, that alot of the times isn't even a proper translation of the original words. I've heard the new dub is better but I still haven't gotten the nerve to play through the game with it. I'm too afraid I'll be dissappointed and it'll ruin the experience.

I love the new dub over the crappy psx dub.  However, I realize some ppl hate the new voice overs just because it is not the "original" or that some characters does not sound the same.

The only gripe I have with the dub is Alucard callin Death old man.  Odd that the company didn't use "Ancient one" like in the playstation version.
