ff = Final Fight
or
ff = Final Fantasy
?

Either way it'd be weird.

Which sucked, I think it could have been better, but it wasn't and I doubt they'll ever make it good. Dissidia would probably be the same.

I'm interested in this actually, though I don't think I'll buy it.

I'd like Castlevania vs. Final Fantasy!!
That'd be like Judgement vs. Ergheiz since it does kinda have the same gameplay.

There won't be fatalities nor blood in the game, so a fan of th MK series might be deeply disappointed.

Well there was an update apparently!!
MK and DC villians will have the ability to do fatalities now.
DC heroes will just have brutalities.

Why are people so horny to see excessive gore in this game?

Seriously, we aren't in the ninties anymore..blood and insane violence can be found in so many other games! So is it that bad that a 3d fighter tries to focus on music, characters, story, gameplay, innovative elements, having characters from two well-known fictional universes fight each other?

But no..its going to suck..because you won't get to rip someone's head off.

 :P

Quit crying and play Gears of War so you can chainsaw some fuckers.

(What I typed above was not directed to anyone in particular btw..I am just generally stating my response to what I've heard people bitch about all over the internet.)

BUT as for my opinion on the game, and my personal pros and cons..*Cracks knuckles*

Pros (IMO)

-The graphics/animation look quite good so far.

-Joker and Batman are in it! Definitely musts!

-Story mode sounds like it is really going to be interesting. And it is rare to have a fighting game with an actual in depth storyline/RPG-esc 1 player mode.  :D

-The stages look tight so far..and seem to have really cool interactivity. An example would be the destroyed Metropolis with buildings you can through your opponents through.

-There will be blood. Not that I care that much, but hey why not.

-Superman and Flash, my two least-cared-about DC characters seem to have some kickass moves.

CONS (IMO)

-The selection screen looks EXACTLY like Deception...and I'm tired of seeing 3d renders used in selection screens. Can't anyone use artwork anymore?

-Sonya looks like a transsexual. Just look at her high-res image..look at her face.

-Sub-Zero is once again using his classic appearance. Am I the only one who appreciates change? I loved his Shredder-looking costume in Deception.

-(So far) No Watchmen or V (for Vendetta).

-MK needs to introduce super-moves already. Seriously..get with the times.

-Liu Kang isn't a zombie anymore? Oh right..I forgot..nobody stays dead in the MK Universe.  :P

And thats my opinion on all that! heh
:)

Me and a friend were talkin about this today... Whats the point of Superman bein in this? Hed just fuckin kill everyone if he wanted to. He could kill em all at one time hes fuckin Superman. I mean seriously how could anyone go toe to toe with Superman and win? Unless everyone in this game is jacked up with super roids so their as strong as him or they all carry kryptonite in their pockets they dont stand a chance in hell against Superman.

Superman is also vunerable to magic..

and it isn't as if anyone in this game is totally powerless. This has been discussed to death. >__>

I don't get the point of Superman in general. He's a lame, over-powered, boring mess of a character.

BATMAN PWNS HIM!

This is just an attempt for Mortal Kombat to be relevant in the mainstream as it once was 10 years ago.

Personally, I don't see this game winning any awards or anything.

He isn't overpowered. He is a perfect balance. Yes he can shoot lasers, has super strength, can fly, etc, but the fact  that Superman is a noble and honorable hero is what makes him NOT overpowered. Otherwise he'd just be throwing buildings on innocent people and probably trying to take over the world. You gotta take into account more then just what they can do physically.
