Heres a major belnades/fernandez plot hole.

Alright Yoko, Carrie (who i'm guessing is back in the official time line with Cornell) are both decendants of Sypha Belnades correct. Well in judgement and in Dracula's Curse(pretty much) it says tha Trevor and Sypha get married after thier little adventure, which would mean a Belnades family decendant wouldnt make any since, they would just be a Belmont.

I'm pretty sure that they aren't descendants of Sypha, but rather like her brother or something to that extent.

Not so new flash: CV64 is still not in the timeline. It never was. It never will be.

Um...what? Why would they just be a Belmont? That's silly.

They would be Belmont if they were decendents of Sypha and Trevor, rather, they would be half and half, a nice, strong cup of Beladmont.

However, if Sypha were to have a brother or something, which is more than possible, she could have tracked him down, and taught him/her/it magic/informed them of their new family and destiny, and thus, the Belnades were formed

doesn't matter, he's just looking for some kind of rational explanation for carrie's powers bro. And it might be added later, no telling what iga or his successor are likely to do, personally I think they need to fix the camera issues with the n64 titles and give them a graphical overhaul like the re gamecube games and rerelease them.

Yeah, it's likely that Yoko is a descendant of one of Sypha's relatives.

It would be hard to see any of them being a DIRECT descendant of Sypha and not having a Belmont surname or anything alluding to them having Belmont blood within them. The only way they could retain the Belnades surname was to marry back into the Belnades family. Though, it would be unlikely they simply choose to keep the Belnades surname. Especially when they had the LEGENDARY surname of the Belmonts.

It's partially thanks to Konami constantly changing its mind at points when C64 was well into production.

For example, Schneider Belmont became Reinhardt Schneider, and Carrie's Castle Center boss went from being a corrupted version of Sypha herself to being downplayed as a random unnamed cousin who was turned into a vampire.

Why do people constantly think that Bloodlines consist of only one person?  Are people dense?

An entire family could have powers, it's not just one person.

@Uzo:
Your statement is flamebait, and you're not part of Konami's staff to make such definitive statements (and I know of your rampant hatred of the 64 games so just cut that out right now).  Control yourself.

I don't see now that's flamebait. It's also fact that it isn't canon(though, saying it never will be is probably a stretch)(and rampant hatred shouldn't have anything to do with it). It isn't nice to overreact like that.

Well, I'm only human, y'know.  I can overreact every once in a while (though it's mostly in good fun, it's not like I said it was a warning).

And it is flamebait.  Anyone can start a flamewar right afterwards with some counterargument.  It's not the statement, but rather the way it is said.  I will voice my concerns as people get uppity here.

If that's the case, then nearly every post in the forum is flamebait.

Like Jorges said, the way it is said sounded like it's trying to start something. I didn't see it that way, but some people might.

You got it backwards. I want to end it. End the unfounded misnomer that the N64 games are canon.

If I was going to start something you all know it wouldn't be something you'd have to guess if it was intended to start something or not.
