Topic: Possible reason why Soma wasn't in Castlevania Judgement

I was thinking recently and something occurred to me.  There is a good reason why Soma may have been omitted from Judgment.  For those who may not remember, when Soma is in a dangerous situation his "power of dominance" awakens allowing him to absorb the souls of the monsters he slays and thus gains their powers.  However, when the situation is resolved, the souls are released and he loses the abilities he absorbed.

Because of this, Soma could have been omitted.  After all, he would have any powers.  The only way it would work is if he was transported to the area the game takes place in during either of his adventures.  Considering that this is unlikely, I doubt Soma could work as a character for Castlevania Judgment.

Soma should've been in it.  Who cares about the story.

Besides, would we get to see the anime soma or the original one? And more importantly, would his coat be furry like in AOS?

If he had been in it, his design would have likely been a mix of his AoS and DoS designs. Which could turn out pretty cool looking, IMO. I always hated his disco boots in AoS...

Well, hardly any of the characters in Judgment were even remotely recognizable, so Soma could've looked like absolutely anyone. Or anything. But yeah, AoS-Soma wasn't the greatest design ever... his pants were positively embarrasing.

Notice the universe doesn't collapse when two Aeons fight each other? The universe should be able to handle Drac and Soma in the same room, then.

i just think he is childish and has the silliest story ever...and not even Julius saved those games...sorry, it just doesn't fit right for a Castlevania game...

AoS's story wasn't THAT bad. THough DoS's was. Hell, PoR had a better story than DoS.
