Hey, they're making a mobile phone based manga for Lament of Innocence.

http://www.konami.jp/mobile/w573/comic_dracula.html

Like so many Castlevania goodies these days, I doubt we'll ever see this in English, but who knows?

They have new character art up for each of the characters.  Of special note, it looks like they have a picture of Rinaldo's daughter on the web site in human and vampire form.  I'll have to find out what her name is.

I'm wondering who that girl next to Rinaldo is.  I'm assuming she's his daughter or wife, but there's no actual arrow pointing to him.  I also notice that the arrow is pointing to Walter, not from him, so I wonder what the connection is and what it is saying.  Maybe it's someone completely new?  (the vampire girl is almost definitely Rinaldo's daughter).  Her name looks to me to be basically "Lisa", so that's confusing why they would use that name for this person.

Also of note, we get to see what the Crimson and Ebony stones look like now  :)

I'm lead to believe that when you follow Rinaldo's green arrow, the picture under Walter is his daughter.

I have no idea who the girl besides him is. Perhaps a "new" character. Kinda like how the Pachi-slot has Angela.

Why should Japan have always that kind of fun for her shelf? What about the rest of the world?

Aside from that, this is looking preaty cool!!

That is a really good find.  I didn't know that page existed.

The LoI cell phone manga is old though.  I don't remember the date exactly, but it's been a few years.  I was never able to get the full manga, just the preview pages.  I wish I could find the full manga though, especially now since that page makes it look a lot more indepth than I thought it would be.

I wonder why they created a relationship page for something that wasn't going on anymore?

I found the page by following a banner ad that had LoI art I hadn't seen before on the Castlevania radio drama site.  Then I dug around the konami weekly site with the help of Google Translate until I found something about Castlevania.  The link I followed was a news page that announced that they added a correlation chart to it's page in January of 2008.  If you know where I can find any more information or images about this manga, please post it.

The bottom of the page says 2009, but I think that's the date for the web page in general.

The two question marks are probably Death and Mathias again, since his other picture doesn't actually show him.

I don't know when the cell phone manga debuted, but the preview pages I have are from February 2007.
