Good deal or not on symphony?

Hey everyone, I recently was able to come up with some cash and I found a copy of Castlevania: symphony of the night on ebay for 12.99 buy it now. comes in acceptable condition, minor surface wear, no jewel case, no manual. ships with 3.99 standard mail, didn't buy the optional shipping insurance.

Deal or no deal?

the seller was an individual not a private game store, and had high ratings on almost a thousand transactions, 99%

thanks will be my first playthrough of the game, it was greatest hits btw. Why is the black label favored?

Might as well buy it since you've never played it. Too bad it's the bare minimum though.

Black label is favored because it tastes good.

so what you're telling me is that I need to not ONLY play Symphony but eat it? And the black label is the flavored sauce?

I'd still pay 50$ for a copy of the original. Lucky for me DXC was updated and only 30$, but still, I'd have purchased it full price if it wasn't.

So hell yeah, jump on that.

That's a lousy deal. No case, no manual, and only acceptable condition? No way.

I've seen it pretty often for around 30-ish, so if you are a hard core collector you might as well pay the extra and get the case and manual as well. If you just want the disc, nothing else, then you might as well go for the cheap one
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I recommend just saving up to buy a psp and a copy of DXC.  It might be expensive, but this way you get both SotN and both version of RoB.  Plus, then you can play it where ever you want considering that the psp is portable.

If I had more money I would have gotten a better copy of the game. However my PSX plays some games that are incredibly scratched. I saw a deal and jumped on it, it might not be a deal compared to the one you got in 2003 for a near mint copy at 12. And I agree that was an excellent buy. I could care less about the manual as I never read them anyway, aside from when I do my bussiness.

I'm on a very tight budget, an extra 15 or 20 dollars for a better disc, jewel case, and manual are low priorities when I am just getting buy. I have to have money for gas, food, rent, not manual, jewel case, and perfect condition disk.

I just want to play the game, if it plays than when you compare what I paid for, next to what most sellers are asking for even a "working" copy of the game, I think I saved a few bucks.

Thanks, I just hope it actually plays, and that it doesn't brake in the mail, as it will be mailed without a case.

You could have asked the seller to put in in a jewel case from office depot or something, at the very least.

I have a collectors edition great condition and in the jewel case with book... and I have it downloaded on PS3 (didnt have a PSP) then saw new Drac X and FFTactics for 10$ each and my wife got them and my PSP! so now I have that copy of SOTN... I have an origonal jewel case for SOTN somewhere around my house or still at my parents somewhere... no idea about my origonal disc though.

Now you got me thinking I should put it on ebay for 50$ or something silly ;-P
