Yea honestly I can say this new direction of Castlevania is absolutely wonderful. I fully 100% support this game and the possible amazing future of this franchise.

Just goddamn I cannot wait for tomorrow, I hope we get more.

Where's the gameplay? A majority of that trailer was cinema scenes and camera pans of one sort or another. I didn't watch everything closely, as I didn't want to spoil too much and it sounded like they wanted to show every other supporting character and boss.  Still, this is definitely a different venue for Castlevania...this trailer has very little to do with the series as far as I'm concerned. But it looks like it will be a fun adventure, anyways.

What's with the 3-4 huge towers all connected with huge beams? (Gabriel walks out on the balcony of 1 of them). Does that remind anyone else of Castle Dracula from the Van Helsing movie? The layout is very similar.

An observation. When Gave absorbs the black water color looking stuff and explodes, he totally sprouts wings. Maybe that has to do with the bird skull on his armor. Also, why does it seem that Carmilla has similar armor to gabe when shes pretty clearly evil. HMMM.

That's probably what they meant by multiple castles. Castlevania isn't just one, but 5 different castles connected to eachother.

...it looks very God of War. I saw very little Castlevania in that gameplay besides the sub weapon daggers.

Well, the action looks pretty much like I imagined, so I'm not disappointed. Remember combat is only 1/3 of the game, the rest is platforming and puzzle solving.
