Yeah, that was since Anne Rice in the 90's you know? Old Lords vampires were imponent, fierce, cold as ice but not in a "ZOMG I killed my father and I must to die" way, they killed because, you know, they liked it, they were handsome but not gay-handsome, they were handsome because they represent a picture of Evil desires, that leads to human decay, that's how real vampires were until Anne Rice. not that I don't like her books, I love them, but Lestat was 45287345628576 times badasser than Alucard, and that's a lot to say.

I won't ask for a monkey-faced one as the original Alucard, but more like this:

Handsome, warrior, fierce, cold, epic. That's the Alucard I would love to have in a CV game, a man who can hold the title, Prince of Darkness. Not Prince of Twilight or Prince of Pussies.

Looking at the bit of trailer shown in the GamePro interview, I noticed that the giant crow demon you see forming for a few seconds has a sort of ball mask on! Perhaps it is one of the Lords of Shadow? I theorized before that the Lords would have animal traits, and this seems to be the crow guy (Dracula would more likely than not be the one with bats). Looks like an amalgam of Karasuman from SotN and the classic Giant Bat boss. Awesome.

If my theory is correct, I imagine the Lords will be Wolf guy, Crow guy, Goat guy, and finally Bat guy (Drac). Makes sense, as each of those are associated with evil in lots of folklore.

@Darkprince: Just a misunderstood, people thought that Gamespot confirmed that Alucard was in the game... he is not, is just an outdated description of the game in their site in the LOS page: "Marks The return of Alucard"

I made a post a few pages back and I think that the Lords of Shadow are three elder vampires.(one of them being Dracula, the leader of the three)

I knew I wasn't crazy that I saw Karasuman in the E3 trailer(in fact it was the only enemy outside of werewolves that I recognized from a Castlevania game). And I think Karasuman might be a minion of one of the Lords, in fact in the beginning of the trailers you can see a flock of ravens all over a building so that might be it's lair.
