I'm a pretty avid player, and when I play, I play for hours... and I don't mean 4 or , I mean 8,9 or 14 hours. Never had I played that the ring happen, my nephews as well. The only time it scratched anything, was when the 360 was moved from a laying to a standing position. If it's just regular scratches, then who knows, maybe I don't know abuot those. But the large rings are from movement. so for those... yes, it only happens to idiots.

Gonna get it on my ps3 simply because i dont have an xbox. However Ill probably get one once Harmony of Despair comes out simply because Ive always wanted a multi player castlevania game to come out.

I'd definitly get the PS3 one myself and not just because I don't have an Xbox 360 either. The PS3 uses blu ray which allows twice as much info to be stored onto a single DVD disc while the Xbox 360 uses the standard red laser and their discs only hold as much as the DVD itself will allow without Blu ray. Take Ninj Gaiden Sigma or Sigma 2 or even Batman Archam. Those games for the PS3 have much more on them then the Xbox would allow and that's due to Blu ray technology.

Nah, that's more of because a rerelease after the original release (NG2) and the guy who did it just wanted to add a bunch of things on. I don't know about arkham though.

Soooo once again trying to get back on topic here...

One of the articles posted a couple pages back listed the release date as Sept 24. How accurate could this be? Will there be a FIRM and FINAL release date announced at E3???

There's a big chance of it being legit. MercurySteam worker "Dralu" confirmed that release datw is planned to be september at castlemaniacs.com. I'm not sure if it's sep 14th, but good enough for me

Meh, I wouldn't trust any date until it has gone gold. That's when they don't really plan to do much else and got everything "done."

I love 360, PS3 and Wii. Why hate on things that are equally fabulous? I love video games too much to hate on anything.

ANYWAY; Lords of Shadow! It's kinda legendary already. Never before have I been thinking about a new Castlevania this much. I loved the IGAvanias, but this is summin' else. I wanna marry this game and have its babies. But what if it sucks? I won't be able to handle that. Gaaaaah, Lords of Shadow is like the most important game this year... I need more than fancy screenshots at this point.

It better not suck! After all, I'm buying a PS3 just for this game! (I also was gonna buy a Dreamcast just for Resurrection but that was cancelled. Let's hope that dosen't happen with LoS  )

I don't think it will suck at all. Everything we've seen/heard about the game so far looks fantastic to me. I really can't wait for E3 so we can see some new stuff & gameplay footage. I think this game will be worth the wait for sure.

YES. YES and YES. 10 mins HD gameplay footage excluding cut-scenes time. This is what I ask for.

Regarding plenty of reasons to buy PS3 , Just to name one like God of War III.

It's really the videos that are getting me excited. The pic's,... meh. Pretty pictures and graphics mean nothing to me.
They could do a release for Wii that looks like ass, but plays the same and I'd be happy. Just as long as they don't try making the game cartoony on Wii I really wouldn't care.
