This game is actually like the orginal Castlevania but then in 3D! I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

It is a recreation of CVII, SCVIV, and CV at the same time. I appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to please fans, I guess.

I will give Cox credit...he really seems to have busted his ass on this game and seems proud of it and stands behind his work. So far, based off the vids & screens I'm impressed. I can't wait for the final product. Less than 6 weeks now!  ;D

The CE mask is European only, that's AWESOME, and a SOUNDTRACK, too?! :o ... :D I'm SO on board with this, so the US version has an artbook instead of the mask, that's alright, love this interview! :D

I wish both the Euro and US packages had both the artbook and the mask, cause I really want them both. I guess ill have to see if the mask shows up on ebay. I really don't understand why they do that

I would actually rather have the artbook than the mask. Don't know what I would do with a mask really. But I guess I'll have to get the european 360 version cause I'm not modding or anythin like that.

Anyway; October 5th for North America, October 7th for Europe and October 8th in the UK. Like UK isn't a part of Europe? I don't get it... well well, whatever.

I wonder if the artbook spoils all the characters/enemies etc. That's one way to ruin your experience.

"He said that for the demo they had to choose areas that were really short and action-based to give people an easy sense of how it feels, but he's frustrated people have assumed that combat is all there is to the game. "I cringe when someone says it's a hack-and-slash game," he stressed. "

Well... uhm. What did he expect? If you don't want people to think you're making a hack'n'slash game, don't release a hack'n'slash demo. Simple as that.  ::)

You can put it on for Halloween, hang it on your wall, paint it, play frizbee, etc.

Not much you can do with an artbook except look at it =P

You can do the same things with the mask as you can with the art book: Look at it. Put it on display. Brag about it. Enjoy it. Look at both of them online. Try to convince people who got the better deal. That's it.

Correct! You are correct Sir. It was Konami and MS fault to bring a demo that only proves the hack and slash part without having any indication to the other elements ( e.g. platforming ). Ok, we as Castlevania fans know for sure that there are other elements but what about the new comers who are supposed to be the major goal of the "REBORN" perspective ?

Anyway, I'm so excited to the game and it seems it's our best chance to have a real Castlevania experience in 3D.

October 8th?! where'd you hear this, my Argos post was weeks ago, the EU date will most likely apply to the UK as well, what I found and posted was a speculated date. but I kinda agree with the artbook thing, the game bayonetta featured a replica of one of her guns if you pre ordered the game (or bought the colllectors edition)
