I'm currently playing through Enslaved and it's a pretty fun, but very linear game. The closest I've had to a QTE is basically 'press O to kill the enemy'....similar to how Darksiders is (if you played it). No timed button presses or waiting for the larger circle to enter the smaller one. Don't remember if Heavenly Sword had any though. It's been forever since I played that.

I'm with ya though. QTEs need to stop.

I think Heavenly Sword had 'em when you'd throw... ANYTHING (but I recall it with discs).

Enslaved had several control problems, animations were to limited to make, for example, a short-radius turn, you had to run a "big" distance for simply turning around! :(
*It wouldn't be a problem if all enemies would not force us to attack them from behind

Yeah. The camera does this silly motion blur thing too and the auto target could be better. Sometimes I find myself surrounded by enemies, but I'm swinging the staff at absolutely nothing.

Capcom sent the Bionic Commando license to tiny swedish game studio GRIN. Then GRIN went bankrupt. I hear there were "problems" or "delays" with payment on Capcoms part.
This is a real shame. As far as I'm concerned, the 3D Bionic Commando, despite its shortcomings, is one of the most revolutionary and fun 3D games to come out in a number of years. In fact, I'd say it's my favorite game of this generation. I'm hoping somehow a sequel can be made, with embellishments and improvements of course. But a really solid start it was; good to see a game use 3D space to the fullest and have so much player-guided swing control. The one-the-fly, click-stick shooting for extra aiming was another cool feature to have alongside old-school 3rd-person shooting. And maybe it's just me, but this game is powerfully gorgeous even in SD.

I found for many things I couldn't vote honestly because I've hardly played anything new this year.

I don't know if this has been asked yet, but I have a quick question:  As we know, when Gabriel defeats a lord of shadow, he says three words in what I believe is latin and a piece of the mask falls to the ground.  What do those three words mean, if anything?
Behold my power and tremble
