Woa I never thought about that. What if Gabriels two halves fight each other and then Dracul wins and so it possesses Gabriel's body?
Now that would be awesome.

I hope that doesn't happen...but Reverie does involve time travel, apparently. One of the artwork assets refers to one of the clock areas in fact being a time machine.

Maybe you visit the Vampire Castle when Frankenstein and the Bernhards resided there?
What time travel???!!! Here we go again...

I too would also like to see Simon become the next Belmont in the sequel. :)

I'd actually like them to mirror the known family tree of the classic timeline.
Ralph/Trevor, Christopher, Soleiyu, Simon, Juste, Richter, etc.

^This, but with Alucard and Simon already "confirmed", I really doubt we'll see Trevor, Soleil or Christopher, unless this timeline also became a convulted emss of different-era-releases.

I'm pretty certain after seeing what happen with the Lords of Shadow in the game, the same thing happens to Gabriel.  He doesn't get bitten by anyone.  The pure good portion of himself ascends to heaven and all of his darkness stays behind on earth and becomes Dracula.

The ice and snow of Carmilla's castle represent the climate of the area its located in.  And freezing temperatures mean absolutely nothing to vampires or other creatures without body heat.  It would be a place away from the pesky humans and their problems.

Going by the garden and its history, I would assume that the area was actually a lot warmer before Carmilla. The frostbitten-ness is probably a side effect of all the EVIL.

It would make more sense for the vampires to live near pesky humans rather than far away from them.  :-\

Not really.  Humans can form a lynch mob in daylight, and with no difficult conditions (like that freezing cold and terrible distance and cliffs) they could just as easily raid the mansion/dwelling the vampires are in, during daylight, and exterminate them... like in all the moves in which they do (The Lost Boys, Dracula Dead & Loving it haha, countless others).

Well, there is a village near Carmilla's castle. I guess whether or not a lynch mob is an option depends on how frightened and enslaved the humans are. If they are too afraid to rise up against the vampires, the vampires don't have to worry about being lynched as long as they put the humans in check. Those who keep to themselves while giving off an "outside" air might be more suseptable to a lynch mob because they are different enough to be considered a "threat" but haven't proved themselves as being a force that the human mob cannot match. But climate has nothing to do with that.

But with the speel being casted, sunlight never directly touches vampires (or humans) even in daylight, they are out of danger. Also, it's said that old vampires are resistant to sunlight so Carmilla is more than safe then.

Am i the only one who was a little disappointed in this game?...
It really did not feel like a castlevania game to me at all...
.. just saying how i felt about it.
I hope the next game more closely resembles a castlevania game... that.. or maybe i'm just old fashioned?
I'm too stuck on how the games have been up until now.. that could be it.
I really did not recognize anything that sounded like castlevania music.
It felt like.... well i dunno what it felt like.. but it felt like it was a different game... i gotta wonder if they should have just made it a game about something else and left the castlevania title out.
.. that's just how i feel though... personal taste and all that..

Nah, you weren't the only one my friend. I was deeply disappointed with LoS, should've been its own thing rather than a CV, as it was at first.
