It's a pretty good poster.  I particularly like the dragon that's with the castle, gives it an interesting look.

Also, if James Wan had this poster made for the movie, we know he has a better feel of what Castlevania is than the last group, the "Dracula Begins" people.

But there is no proof of it actually being alucard or even relates to the alucard game. Compare that poster with the teaser video that IGA showed awhile back about the alucard game.

I really liked the poster; not for being the poster itself, but for the concept, I mean, God, Wang is gooing to reflect the castlevania concept, or it seems to. I'm sure he won't put 2nd wolrd war soldiers hiding in a Castle and a she-vampire becoming the Lord of darkness - Damn Sylvain White- and Saw 1 is the best of those movies, so, It's a good director. I'm excited, TOO excited :D too castlevania good news  8)

Everything comes full circle

Someone on BD says the poster was created by Aaron Sims Company specifically for the film.

I highly doubt this will have ANYTHING to do with any games coming out.

Interesting. but the only thing that seems to stand out of place is the Samurai sword. It's hardly a Romanian weapon.

Im thinking of the reason why the samurai sword is there is because it could be Jonathan and Jonathan can use more than just a whip. lol hah

Aaron Sims sounds plausible.

Well, the whole Japanese sword thing seems to be emphasizing the point that this is an East meets West kind of thing, like they were saying.  It's pretty dang cool, as long as they have some kind of explanation and that is a new character or one of the other white-haired characters who have been seen using a Katana before, like Alucard, Hector, or Soma...  Or Juste would be fine.

The katana's not that out of place. I mean, considering that, particularly in the IGA games, there were weapons from all over the world that could be equiped by Alucard, Soma, and even Jonathan. To me, the whole dual sword and whip thing was something I always wanted. Use the whip snare a monster, pull him in and finish it off with a sword combo. ;D

And this is a splendid fighting style if you ask me.

Hey, this could be interesting. The idea of a movie project not being totally thrown away is encouraging, even if the first movie idea sounded horrible.

Maybe if I cross my fingers super hard, we'll get news about the Warren Ellis animated project and IGA's Alucard game!

Okay, I guess that's pushing it...

Well at least this project seems like its actually going to go somewhere what with having concept art. The katana does seem a little strange, but I'm willing to give the project a chance.
What a horrible night to have a curse!
