Ok I don't really understand why he can keep coming back. Also when he comes back is it the same memories? Like does he remember being Mathius from the early days? Where did the name Dracula even come from, I know a few names the dark lord has had but has it ever actually been Dracula?

If Soma became the new Dracula would Alucard be his son? @_@

Dracula had the same memories and persona from 1062 up until 1999.  During the latter year, his soul was separated from his dark powers, preventing him from resurrecting as he usually did.  Instead, his soul reincarnated like a normal person, resulting in Soma, a new persona without the past life's memories.
