This game is a blast. I've played it for a few hours, finally beat it earlier today, and will be embarking on hard mode soon. I love just about everything about it. Makes me wish they make more new side-scrolling Castlevania games of the old style.

I love the arcade- and Sega Genesis-style music. The graphics look very reminiscent of a Game Boy Advance game, which isn't bad, but I'd prefer if it were more up to Super NES or Nintendo DS quality. Still, way awesome.

Although, aside from the fireball-shooting whip, and the rolling eyeballs, I'm confused as to why it's called Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth.

Either the U.S. release or how to download the game on my Japanese system. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. LOL

If you have a Japanese Wii, it should be as easy as buying Japanese Wii points (you can get 'em from Play-Asia.com, for example) and then logging onto the shop channel and buying it.

Hopefully a US release isn't very far away. I hate not paying for the things I like. This and Rondo of Blood and Splatterhouse arcade all need to come out in the States.

So much for collecting a hard copy of this game.  Was anyone lucky enough to get a copy from a gaming event or some shit?

I emulated it today. I really liked it, however, it's not the same experience and I just bought a wii, so I will buy it when it comes here.
Great game :D Download and play it on your wii emu if you like to be sure, then buy it.

Everything comes full circle

Downloaded the Japanese WiiWare version and ILLEGALLY installed it to my Wii. :o

As for a hard copy... It's not going to happen. This was a download-only game from the start.

For some reason, it won't even let me online to the Wii Shop Channel on the thing. I think I'm just going to download it or something. lol

Since I dont own a Wii I've been watching some vids on youtube and I must say the game looks pretty awesome. I really like Dracula's design in it.
