Wow, you are way too picky. I loved the figures, they look perfect IMO. Just my thoughts.

depends if you're lucky to have a really good set,
or unlucky a badly sculpted/paint job

or if you're like me is still waiting to ever see them in a physical form in a store to look at them before I buy

i do agree succubus looks like what you described her, sacredsorrow, she wasn't on my buy list anyway I still want the dracula & Alucard

remember this is an american figure company NECA they've done well for making any CV merchandise for anyone so i respect that..

I'm glad to have a nice Leon figure even tho he's rigid and anatomically incorrect on the shoulders but he's cool

if you are expecting Kojima style, you'd expect it from a Japanese company like ...Kaiyado

lets hope there is more castlevania figures to collect in future i wouldn't mind gashapons even

Kaiyado or Koto would be good companies for very hi-detailed sculting that keeps close to the original look.

Though, I wouldn't like gashapons. I never was fond of anything THAT small. THe usual case, especially if you are a detail fanatic is that the smaller the figure is, the least amount of detail it has. Anime characters that LACK much detail benefit more from gashapons. SD characters, things like Hamtaro or Crayon Shin Chan work perfect for gashapon. I think for something like CV, you have to have the full sized ones.

Finally the UK gets Castlevania Figures!.

(Pics below)

Simon is the badass of the group but i have 2 complaints about him.

1. Why are his hands too small to fit anything in them? i struggled my arse off to fit either his swords or his whips into them.... finally just about managed the flail though.

2. Why does his shoulder armour come off but not go back on again? I might have to use the glue gun to fix this.... :(

Succubus is neat too... but she doesnt fit on her pedestal very well and is a pain in the arse to stand up. otherwise it's fine.

all the figures are well painted and i got closed mouth Drac which i'm pleased with.

not sure about alucards scabbard placement but otherwise generaly very happy with the full set...

one more thing.... does anybody else think that you could get high on the alucard and dracula figures? taking them out of the package there was a hella nasty plasticy smell.....

Wow, it's insane how exact your situation is to mine! I agree about the Simon fig. What I did was shove  the dagger blade and a nail filer in ihs ahnd to pry it open just a litte more. Now I can fit stuffs in it. And yes, what a horrible plastic smell. I got mine on Christmas and I still smell it.

Yeah, Alucard made me almost pass out!

I think they;re all fairly good. They're no Final Fantasy Play Arts figures, but I still like em
What a horrible night to have a curse!

LOL! I got my Dracula figure for Christmas. Closed mouth. It also still smells like brand new plastic. Personally, I don't mind(something about certain smells like new plastic, new car, or new shoes that make me smile), but I do find it odd that, usually by now, that scent would've faded. It's as strong as ever!

I can't believe I have yet to get these from Bigbad.  They are still listed as preorders for me.  :(

Yeah, I like the new smell too. Its actually almost filled my room with it, at least for the first few days. I always love the smell of a brand new, just open action figure.

I placed mine at mid Nov if I remember.

Because I have credit from them, should I just get some other product from them and just buy the set from another online store?

You should probably contact them and see what's taking so long.
