My Custom Richter Belmont Figure

This is my custom Richter Belmont action figure.
To make it I used a Marvel Select Ghost Rider figure for the body, some wrestler figure for the head, and apoxie sculpt and other materials.
Let me know what you think

I know, I accidentally put this in the wrong section. It should be moved

Impressive, some good craftmanship there! How long it take you to put together?

I worked on and off with it for about a month. I started back around November, but couldn't find a head that fit the body until just a few weeks ago. So it was complete for awhile, just with out the head.

not bad... whatd you make the whip out of?

I found you could get small chain links in the craft section in Wal-Mart, the spike ball is from the end of the Simon Belmont chain whip.

This is actually, very good!!!!! But what i don't like so much, is he's muscles, they make him look, like a pro wrestler!!!!

As for him being a bit muscular, he looks pretty built on the cover of Rondo of Blood so thats what I went for

This is a great effort and an impressive piece of work. :)

I found your post because I'm actually in the process of making a figure of my own using some recent figure acquisitions. We'll see how they go. :)

Thanks for the inspiration that it INDEED can be done. ;)

I'll make sure to post back once I complete my job. ;)

Richter forever!

I wish Neca would go back to the CV figures.  They were so cool. It's such a disappointment that we wait so long for CV action figures and 4 is all we get, damn you Neca!

Great job! But to be honest, I don't really like the face.. looks too much like Vin Diesel. But everything else is perfect.

Hahaha! :) Thanks to those who appreciated the work. Well, I guess the likeness is something that can't be helped, and without a figure that looks like Richter from the actual art (or sprites even), we just have to be left with what the base figure heads look like. I guess this is where artistic license comes in. I just felt it would be alright to use this existing head. After all, the Dracula X Chronicles Richter looks nothing like the Rondo Richter, and neither of them look nothing like the SOTN Richter, and more so, nobody can really tell why the sprite of Richter in the 16 & 32-bit games has some slightly long-ish hair, instead of the Ryu-looking mop-top the paintings depict. I tried to make this figure an amalgamation of the costume art & sprite character, both from Rondo. The long-ish hair & scruffy chin were acceptable, in my opinion, since fighting in a castle would leave little time to shave. (hahaha!) Oh, and even NECA added a bit of a 6 o'clock shadow over their Simon Belmont's chin.

Hey, profbeanburrito, thanks for the kind words! I hope more will make some wicked Richter customs. The web needs more hits when you do a google Richter custom figure search. :)
