What was the longest you've ever sat down & played through cv games? I've tried to play through most of them in consecutive order, but it's pretty tough

I think I lasted for about 25 hours before passing out, or catching carpal tunnel >_>

Or how about playing chronologically from the beginning of the timeline(LoI) to the end(DoS), even going through the "bad" games? That's a lot of sleepless nights there

Wow, I could never do that. I usually play a video game for about 1 hour or 1 hour and a half at a time. If the game is really addictive I might return to it 2-3 times in one day, but I could never ever play for that many hours in a row. When I was younger things were quite different though. For example, I think I finished Shining Force II in 5 sittings, which is kinda extreme, at least for me.

My ideal Castlevania Marathon would be hooking up all my old systems and play a little bit of everything. I wouldn't try to finish each individual game, just play a few levels for fun Not the Castleroids though - I don't wanna start playing them if I don't have the intention of beating them. And I don't want beat any of them ever again, at least not in a very long time. The oldschool vanias are fine for a quick romp though

Wow.. Every time I play anything, i can NOT play less than 2 hours.
My Girlfriend keeps telling me I become like a Zombie when I turn the game on, and that I am lost into the game for the rest of the day.

when its a game I sit down to play I know full well Im gonna play the HELL out of it. Its not uncommon for me to play somethin like WoW literally all day. I dont normally pay attention to the time much but I know for a fact Ive played WoW for atleast 16 hours straight many many times cause I just happened to pay attention to when I started playin at the time

For me if a games good enough I can play it that long the times nothin for me assumin I have that much time to kill. Usually when I play games for that long tho I dont even notice it. I start playin and the next thing I know its 3 or 4am or earlier and Im ready to sleep. But feels like 2-3 hours tops

Its the same way when Im makin somethin like workin on my own games or makin mods for other games or somethin

As for SoTN its not as bad as it sounds. Last time I did it was on xbox and I got all the achievements in that one playthru. Cant remember what lvl I got to but I did like I always do and killed the final guards til they werent worth but like 200-300 xp each so however high that gets ya. Of course I got the Cris and Runesword cause those are my fav weapons. Most of the time I use the ghost so not much effort in the way of familiars. That last play thru I maxed out a Muramasa too just cause thats fun

I remember having a CV marathon once. But this was the before I own Sotn and I only had CV64. Though I didn't have all the games on the consoles I did however, have them on my computer for emulation. And from chronological order, I beat them all. but depending on the game I would allocate from console to computer and back again. The super Gameboy SNES mod made the two gameboy classics funner to play through.

I have a Halloween tradition of playing through as many of the games as possible.
I've never gotten passed PSX. I actually beat SotN once, but passed out before the credits ended.
Now that my wedding anniversary is going to be on Halloween, I'm going to have to move it by a day.

I played Legends through Vampire Killer chronologically once.  Meant to play more, but stopped playing once I hit those all those Simon games that didn't advance the story.  It was the first time I beat most of those games too.

Much more likely to listen to all the Castlevania music chronologically.

I've played and finished Super Castlevania IV 4 times from beginning to end, without to stop for a rest. It was a day that i was sick and i didn't have anything else to do.

I've always wanted to play through them chronologically but not necessarily in a marathon. I have beaten the original NES Castlevania 4 times in one day though.

I had the intention to play the games chronologically last year.

When I finally got to The Adventure and finally beat it (what I´ve never accomplished in 10 years)... I was so happy, I had some kind of CV Rush Oo
I finished 6 CVs afterwards in one week (HoD,SotN, Ecclese among others)

When i got to Bloodlines, I was sick of it -well, it´s been a year since then. Now I have a new attempt.  Just finished LoI. Perhabs I´ll finish them this time.


I can handle to play them over the course of days... but without sleep? no way *g*

I've done this several times over the years. It helped a lot cuz I had several systems all hooked up at once so I was able to switch games/consoles easily. Sometimes you just get in full on Vania mode and gotta go through all the games
