Anybody still playing OoE??

Like for speed-runs or low percentage runs? or maybe some kind of self-imposed restraint to make the game more interesting?

Or maybe just playing the game for fun.

I was just thinking about playing it again :) It will be just for enjoyment, no speed runs or anything. It`s a very fine game!

Just playing again so I can do Albus mode later. Never did that last time.

Nope, I use to play CV I or Chronicles frequently, even SOTN and III, but Ecclesia is not on my list of replayability. A very good, but forgettable experience  :-\

The only reason I've played the game more then once is because there's a female protagonist which sets it apart from the rest of the series.

I still need to finish it a first time...

I actually was playing a bit more of it the other day. If I have time, maybe I'll get around to finishing it this week end.

The game is alright, but I highly doubt I will ever play through it again.

Seems like not too many people are playing this game any more. It's almost impossible to do a low-kill game or a low map percentage game. The lowest percentage I could get was 69.6% at the final save point.

Furthermore, the sticky topic "OOE Friendcodes --Shop requests --Race partners" seems pretty useless at this point.

But albus mode is always fun!

i haven't beaten it for the first time yet (stuck at a couple Final Guards blocking my path), but i like alternate runs, that i started on a couple weeks ago with one of my favorite sets of rules.  basically, every time you encounter a glyph, you must equip it.  i always have one short range "primary weapon type" arm glyph and one long range "subweapon" type one.  set A always has both short range weapons on both left and right hands, set B has the short range one on the left and the long range on the right, and set C has the long range weapon in both hands.  for the back glyph, i keep it the same for all sets so i don't have to worry about what set i'm using.  mandatory glyphs like Magnes tend to mess this scheme up a bit, so i guess i try to have the Magnes on at least one of the sets when needed.

same goes for other equipment, as long as its not totally outclassed by the one you currently have, you must switch to it when you encounter it.

I like the direction of that self-imposed restriction. I would probably take it a step further and only absorb glyphs that absolutely HAVE to be picked up....just to see what the minimum amount of glyphs is for finishing the game.

The only problem with that, is that Arma Felix pwns so much ass, it would be so hard to not get it. :'(

I'm still "playing" it. That is, I pick it up every few months to get a tiny bit further. I've had it since it came out and haven't beaten it, because it hasn't held my interest enough to play it more frequently.

I still play it. It's a really fun game. Contrary to most peoples' opinions, I actually like the level design a lot. I've replayed it several times now. It's not boring at all to me.
