Huh..so is this the first direct crossover from another Konami property into a Castlevania game? I mean like literal characters and the "world" from another property, so Gradius and Metal Gear easter eggs don't count .

Those featured Castlevania characters, yes. But I was referring to other Konami stuff making a very noteworthy entry to a Castlevania title, minus an easter egg icon like Vic Viper or Konami Man.

Unless Dracula's Castle makes an appearance in that game I doubt there would be much reason for the two series to be connected in a serious cross-over.

Pretty sure it doesn't, as the game is about defeating a demon who's killed two people of the Fuuma clan. But it boggles me about its inclusion here..

Unless a lot of people who worked on that game created Castlevania, this addition is bizzare.

The soundtrack cover shows off red haired Simon, so I guess we'll see one of Getsu...who's also a redhead.

Here's some gameplay...which looks a lot like Castlevania.
