I still don't know what purpose "Load BGM" serves. Is it a song played while the X68000 boots up the game?

Yes, Loading the floppy disk was long. It is tediously painful.
It cannot be experienced with the emulator.

LOAD BGM is service of Konami.
I'm on hiatus now.

Cool. Was that typical of X68000 games, or just something special Konami did for this game? That's a really nice treat when having to wait for the game to load. "Hey, we know it sucks waiting like this, so you guys get to listen to this really cool song."

Regarding 'Bania vs. 'Vania...it's a logical typo. As I understand it, V and B are similar in Japanese akin to L and R. I've seen this a few times in other Japanese-to-English translations.

As for logos, one way or another, Lords of Shadow was definitely the time to change the logo. The crescent moon is clean, but is getting old. The original logo is awesome, and would help boost nostalgia sales perhaps, but I think that the Castlevania IV-style logo would have been neat to have back, too. Ultimately, something that blends old and new would probably be best. (In the end, it'll be interesting to see how much the 'Castlevania' name itself helps or hurts Lords of Shadow).

LOAD BGM...I have to say, ReBirth was my first exposure to it (I've been slow to get Chronicles, even though it's easier to get than before). Anyway, the song grew on me fast. Love the bass line. A great tune that, like stage 2's rare music, gives ReBirth some extra uniqueness.

I miss the stabbing v personally. Its one of the letters I would use to kill a lot of idiots right after I got done using T as a pickaxe and L as some random heavy blunt object.
