Or at least put up Haunted Castle on the Arcade VC.
WHY

HAUNTED CASTLE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE

I'd rather have Haunted Castle ported over say something like Harmony of Despair.

uzo's got a point. Haunted Castle was a b***h to get through but satisfying none-the-less. It is also an arcade classic with traditional castlevania gameplay, something IGA has yet to return to.

traditional castlevania gameplay, something IGA has yet to return to.

What about ReBirth, and DXC? Sure DXC is a remake, but ReBirth is essentially a new game entirely, since it barrows next to nothing from Adventure.

I was referring to an 'original' game built from the ground, up. Rebirth is, in many definitions, an original game. But at the same time, it's not.
And DXC is just a 2.5D remake of Rondo. I want to see and play an original classic-styled CV game. I want to see IGA crank one out...if that's possible.

Hope is something really important. Why do Gamers, fans and collectors do not deserve the divine right to buy real games anymore ? There will be at least 6 versions for Lords of Shadow, with plenty stuff. To ask for one physical game with *only* Box and manual for Rebirth 2 --> isn't that much ?

I want both 2D and 3D for Castlevania. After Lords of Shadow I will probably wanna play a new 2D game just to mix things up. Or maybe I'll like LoS so much that I want another 3D one straight away.. dunno. Point is, I want Castlevania to do both styles and not get caught in either pixel nostalgia nor 3D hype.. Give us BOTH, and do it well.

well said.

I like the controls of a 2D side scroller better than a god of war type game.  Just how my brain is.

I wouldn't mind a 3D side scroller.
