I will probably pick up a 3DS over an NGP. Mainly due to the fact that there are going to be more games on it that I like(Super Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil, Zelda, ect.) and personally, the NGP doesn't hook me in as much. Don't get me wrong though, the fact that the NGP is having a second analong stick, better graphics, and a touch screen is a big improvement over it's predecessor.

I feel the same way about the NGP.
The only real improvement it the second analogue stick.
The touch screen should have been there from the beginning and is just another cue taken from Nintendo's innovative example.
And I really don't give a rat's ass about the graphics. That's just icing.

My main beef with the NGP is that it's just going to have what I'd rather play on a console anyway.

That and no UMD compatibility sucks.

UMD sucks, they admited that even, so I think using it would be ridiculous at this point. Play the games on your PSP.

3DS don't have nothing innovative besides the 3D (lol) and the analog. It'll just like a natural evolution of the DS.

What I'll buy first only depends on Sony, when they announce the official line up for NGP.

Well besides 3D, you have to admit the graphics(not that i care about this aspect really) look much nicer than the DS's graphics ever did. On top of that, there seems to be more third party support with this system and they don't all seem like shovelware. I am looking forward to the upcoming ssf4 port, that game looks kick ass and playing it on the go with all the content of the console version(and more) is really convenient.

No one seems to be mentioning the 3DS's motion controls.

I'm sort of torn between getting one, at $349.00 AU and no zelda title to start with.
or to get a few ps3 games..........
Need for speed shift 2 unleashed
Mortal Kombat
and Duke forever.

Will have to see what the 3ds looks like first.... then decide.

Day one purchase for me.

NGP, urrrr...
I got a psp and used it for like a month. NGP doesn't seem to indicate it wouldn't be the same. I don't care much for Killzone, Uncharted and Twisted Metal as it is.
