I don't make excuses. I know how messed up the government is and I know why.
Its being run by people who have been bought and payed for, either by special interest groups or corporate CEOs.
No government can survive long when it blatantly ignores the needs of the general populace in favor of the wealthy elite.
It seems we learned nothing from the french revolution. Hell, most people these days are such morons they don't know where GERMANY is. (justin beiber anyone?)
My problem isn't that the government caters to these special interests, my problem is that these special interests eat the whole damn buffet and then when the normal people get there to get some food off it not only do they find absolutely nothing at all, when they get back to their table, the food they already had is gone too!
There has never in history been so large a gap between the rich and poor after which a revolution doesn't occur. When people have to work 40-50 hours a week and then come home and have NOTHING, at all, rebellion is inevitable. When banks can take every single thing you have and then leave you in the streets to die, and get away with it, rebellion is inevitable. When anyone who tries to serve the general public in any way while in office gets blackmailed, systematically targeted, and shut completely down, rebellion is inevitable. When the government is being run by people who think that their special interest is the only one who deserves to live, F everything and everyone else, the government and society in which it happens WILL NOT survive.
