Poll

Which Portable do you plan to support?

3DS for me please!
PSP2 (aka NGP) for me please!
Both of the above please --I'm rich!
No , not yet --too expensive.  I'm fine with current portables for now.
I don't do portables --I got smartphone, ipad games etc...
I don't do portables --next gen console please!
I don't know.  My mind was recently violated by a Dark Priest.

Both and I'm poor. I'll just wait and buy only the games I want. First I'll get the 3DS with Mario Kart and Zelda. Next year, the NGP with wathever they have in mind.

The rich comment was just a bit whimsy, but let's face it --this IS an expensive hobby.

That'll take a while, plus you'll need SupahComputah to emulate properly.
And if you got a computer like that, well then you're rich already. :P

Isn't the PSP2 the hand-held console that only allows you to download games rather then use the UMD? Or Am I thinking of a different PSP system?

That's the PSP Go.
But the new PSP (NGP) is rumored to do that as well.  Either that, or some kinda crazy format that works on a MemoryStick.

None of the above, I'm a classic gamer who already has a PSP Phat, a GBA and a DS Lite, I have my handheld needs satisfied.

3DS for me, and perhaps the NGP sometime later. I only bought a PSP for DXC. The same thing will probably happen if they release a CV game for the NGP.

The NGP will use cartridges, just like DS and 3DS. But it'll have online distribuition too.
So you can buy games on stores or online if you want.

Neither, I just hope the new monster hunter game comes out for the first PSP and not the NGP

If I get one, it will probably be the 3DS, but I'll wait for a year or two until Nintendo releases the improved, better designed, version of it, like they do with ALL their handhelds.

I'm really surprised by this poll.  This is a hardcore forum and not even half of us are really interested in buying next gen portables right now --how odd...  I wonder why.

I never liked portables, I have been hoping for a console based game, with lots of work into it.
