maybe we'll find out about "another" non-castlevania game that Iga's working on?  what are all the recent ones he's been involved with now?  I know of Contra ReBirth, that game were he's wearing the funky chicken-like hat, and the DS Scribblenauts.  Was he involved with that Gradius-like game with Kokoro Belmont?

However it seems like they rather focus on sucking the teets of Metal Gear, Yugioh and Pro Evoultion Soccer and will weed out anything that doesn't make "Metal Gear money" (R.I.P Hudson) 

It's sad, because Hudson has some great franchises I'd love to see Konami take over. Bomberman's probably their biggest franchise, though I could only dream that Konami would someday make a Kid Dracula/Bonk crossover(and give it an old school movie title like "Bonk Meets Kid Dracula", like the "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman").

I wonder if, whatever they come up with, they'd release a new DLC stage for it for Harmony of Despair.  It'd be great marketing.

I think for him, it's not a matter of want with Metal Gear. Metal Gear is his baby, and Konami keeps pressuring them to make more since it's a hot series. I'm not quite up on the copyright and relationship between Konami and Kojima Productions, but I'm pretty sure KONAMI owns Metal Gear, and if Kojima wont do a game they'll just assign someone else to do it. I believe he's probably thinking something along the lines of; "I don't want to, but damn if I'll let someone else fuck up MY series!"
