I haven't forgotten what I know about Castlevania.
What is a profit?  A miserable pile of paper!!!
Give us HD Demon Castle War on a home console NOW!!!
Forget 3D Castlevania --you ruin the brand each time you try!
Dracula is NOT a Belmont --you fools!!!
HoD is nearly a year late to PSN...  Shame on you!
Dishonest marketing is bad for business...
Maybe if Castlevania had Metal Gear's financing these past 10 years...
What happened to all the love showered upon DS owners?
DLC to celebrate a 25th Anniversary?  WTF?!?!?
I don't know.  My mind was recently violated by Konami...

Capcom is also working on Mega Man Legends 3 after 10 years, whereas Konami has yet to make the Demon Castle Wars... so...

The project is not even gree-lited. I would not be surprised if they make everything and Capcom refuses.

In all defense to DmC, at least the gameplay looks boss and it's not a reboot. Also his hair turns white and coat turns red during some sequences. Hell, at least the DMC team is actually putting out a game (though it is mostly run by Ninja Theory).

Who knows? Maybe the game will actually be good. I'm most likely going to be giving it a try. LOL.

I would not be surprised if they make everything and Capcom refuses.

That would really suck if that happened. Then everyone would hate Capcom even more.

I dunno... MML3 still hasn't been greenlit, even after all the development and artwork and enemy design cocktease. Since Inafune's gone, it seems more like the game's being held for ransom with the Prototype $2 demo determining whether it sees the light of day, while dogshit like the new "Devil May Cry" is allowed not only to go on unchecked but also be a shitty tie-in to a shitty movie.

That's all Konami cares about anymore....anything with Hideo Kojima's name on it. Look at all the awesome stuff Nintendo is doing for Zelda's 25th. It's a damn shame Konami just doesn't give a fuck.

It's not unusual for a company to care more about their most popular series. Like with Nintendo, the Mario series seems to be... suckish, lately. So Zelda moved up in the ranks. It's just like with Konami, how a good majority of that masses seem to not give a flying (expletive) about Castlevania, though it does have a bigger underground fanbase than Metal Gear.

The biggest question of all, though - what will WE do about it?

We're the core fans. Are we just going to sit around bitching about it, or are we going to get up and make our voices heard by Konami? Start a petition? Star a whole campaign? What do you think would help to have Konami hear us beyond dollar signs?

Thing is, I don't think Konami's really gonna give a rat's ass if we do anything about it. Remember that Castlevania Resurrection petition? How many signatures did that get, thousands? They didn't really care.

But it doesn't hurt to try. We could get a petition and if we send it out to every Castlevania (or Konami in general) fanboard, we could get enough signatures for them to at least consider it. But that's just me. I'd be all up for it.

I agree sin we should do something about this bs, they went on how they were rebooting castlevania and made such a big deal about rebirth and resurrection and every word that could possibly describe the revival of a beloved series, hell even I was on board the wagon but after seeing what LoS has done to the series and seen how Konami has pretty much took a shit on the series I am officially pissed.
