has anyone took the time and thought about it, Dracula is like 15 feet high! I never could think of a logical explination on why he's so big, lets discuss this massive giant!

I dunno, It seems to me more of a fan discussion over one of the many weird things in castlevania, i figure it wasn't significant enough for the general discussion.

I assume it's somewhat exaggerated, for gameplay mechanics. The idea is, they want you to jump to hit him.

Dracula just sits in his chair while his mutated throne/monster/whatever does all the work! Lazy-ass bastard!

I agree that it's more of a game mechanic. Bosses as a general rule are made big and foreboding and this has largely remained unchanged, even though you can have a boss character the same size as the hero or even smaller nowadays. Game wise it might be that Dracula is just an all-powerful Vampire and his height is a physical representation of all that stored-up energy.

Dracula appears to be normal in the final battle because he is sitting in the background of a giant creature who's monstrous hands are right beside you
