has anyone took the time and thought about it, Dracula is like 15 feet high! I never could think of a logical explination on why he's so big, lets discuss this massive giant!

It could be that, or everyone else is just a midget, which would make for a rather interesting plot device.

And no one got any taller until Dracula was reincarnated as Soma. Either that or he shrunk himself.

(Quick Q: Why's this in Fan Stuff?)

I dunno, It seems to me more of a fan discussion over one of the many weird things in castlevania, i figure it wasn't significant enough for the general discussion.

My favorite part is how in SoTN shaft is Huge and Dracula is normal in the final battle

Vampires have an aspect to their mythos that is them appearing/being taller than normal.

I'm sure we've had odd conversations like this in the GD section before. Not like I really have a problem with this being here, just looks like it's in the wrong section is all.

Vampires have an aspect to their mythos that is them appearing/being taller than normal.

Did their mythos have them being that much taller? Richter's not even to Drac's waist!

I assume it's somewhat exaggerated, for gameplay mechanics. The idea is, they want you to jump to hit him.

Yeah, I know. I'm just playing. A good example of how tall he should be is in Judgment. He's not towering 80-stories above you in that.

I agree that it's more of a game mechanic. Bosses as a general rule are made big and foreboding and this has largely remained unchanged, even though you can have a boss character the same size as the hero or even smaller nowadays. Game wise it might be that Dracula is just an all-powerful Vampire and his height is a physical representation of all that stored-up energy.

Dracula appears to be normal in the final battle because he is sitting in the background of a giant creature who's monstrous hands are right beside you  :o
