Maybe. But if there's a game, the most it'll be is an announcement of one, or maybe announce they have one in the works that'll maybe be out this year. I dunno, just throwing ideas out there.

Comic Con would be the right place to announce a full CV animated movie (like FF7).

I think a CV movie would hurt more than help the series.  Movie makers have always dropped the ball with videogame to movie adaptions (except maybe Onechanbara, with minor modifications aside, is probably the only movie that's pretty accurate to the videogames.  With MK1 movie being maybe 2nd or 3rd.  ).

FF7's movie was just eye candy with a really slow and boring story for the most part, with washed out heroes that only possess a drop of what they were in the FFVII videogame.    And the Sephiroth clones/whatever are some of Nomura's most uncreative and tasteless designs.

if people want a Castlevania movie, I think Vampire Hunter D is as good as Castlevania-type movies can get.   And Val Helsing wasn't too bad if you like a mix of vampire hunting and humor.

Chances are, if they didn't reveal anything at E3, they won't reveal anything at SDCC. They're focusing on Metal Gear Solid HD and Silent Hill Downpour instead.

I was holding out hope that maybe the cv3 animated movie would get some news. But I doubt that will happen.

Heh, when Konami is feature stuff like this for a showcase, you can kinda tell that Castlevania took the backseat yet again for this con.

Woah, Kojima is pretty great at making games. The man is very talented. And it makes a hell of a lot o money, so if you're not used to it yet, then I guess you'll never be

Speaking ill of Hideo Kojima? The almighty creator of TRANSFARRING?? Why...how dare you guys!!

But seriously, I blame Konami more for milking the MGS series than I do with Kojima himself. Sure, he lets it happen, but he's expressed an interest in moving on to do something else more than once.

MGS is Konami's answer to everything.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

I hoestly believe Hideo can blow MGS out the water with a New IP, only thing is I don't think he has the balls to do it since MGS is his most successful think he's done.

Uh... Did you ever watch Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete? The original version had deadline problems so not all of the intended content could make it in. The Blu-Ray version includes everything that was supposed to be in the movie. That was a pretty damn-awesome movie. Also, on the topic of video-game movies, Tekken: Blood Vengeance looks fuckin' sweet. Resident Evil: Degeneration was a mediocre movie at best, but it was still better than the live-action movies.

Oh, and Van Helsing sucked. >.>
I also kinda hate it when people say: "Want a Castlevania movie/anime/etc? Watch Vampire Hunter D." Seriously, I never liked that series, nor the character.

That's very nice, but you don't speak for everyone else.  Enough people have said this where there is some merit warranted into looking into either Van Helsing or Vampire Hunter D.  I would wager that VHD has gone so far as being Castlevania's 'sister series' in the eyes of most fans, despite your personal opinion on it.
