I just want to break some ground with the site just to break some ground and not feel like an alien. I just want to know what kind of fighters you ladies and gentlemen like, hate or are currently playing. What games strike your fancy or make you regret even trying it?

For me right now it is blazblue calamity trigger. After playing with my friends I just found the energy to play it again and try to get better with Jin and Noel and go online and do my business. For a game that just angers me is dbz taiketsu.I recall when I was younger the cpu did not even try to attack me it just there stood there almost like it was taunting me >:(.

you should get Continuum Shift, I hated Blazblue until this version came out, its rebalancing changed everything

Liking at the moment - Blazblue Coninuum Shift II for PSP, like I said, I hated Calamity Trigger, but this one is better for many reasons

Hating, and always will - (Ultimate) Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Its a Garbage game that all my friends seems to love playing, I can't stand how people can consider this garbage a fighting game at all.

I don't like Blaze Blue, Tekken, and MVC3, like above poster said, it's trash.

Love DOA games and SC 1 and 2, fell off after that. I do like streetfighter and MK, but there are so many.

Its cool, If you got a PSP or 3DS you'll get the best versions of BBCS.
Its mostly better than CT because it removes the Noob Hotkeys, but makes special moves easier to perform so you'll be mastering your favorite character.
plus the handhelds have all the DLC of the Console versions available without need of DLC purchase.

I love Blazblue period. It became my favorite fighting game when I played the first one. Continuum Shift helped balance things out and added new characters, which made things even more enjoyable.

Before Blazblue I was a Street Fighter 2/3 fan. More SF2 than SF3 though. I hated SF4 though. Didn't help that they had to release all these freaking updated versions, making my collector's edition of the original SF4 not even worth the money I spent on it. I thought I learned my lesson with SF4, but nope. I get MvC3 and now they're doing the same thing to it...expect I liked MVC3.

As for other fighting games, Soul Cailbur 2 was awesome. I didn't like SC3, and I only liked SC4 for the character creations. I like Guilty Gear, but I fail at it for some reason. I've only played X2 and XX Accent Core though. Tekken is okay, but I don't really care for the games that much. I've only played Tag Team Tournament and 3 or 4...I don't remember which one it was. Smash Bros Series is fun to play with friends, but otherwise I'm not huge into it. Oh, and there's this game for the Sega Genesis I own called Eternal Champions that I liked quite a bit, but I usually don't count it since it's kind of obscure now.

So really, all I hate is SC3 and SF4. And I love SF2, SF3 and Blazblue. Everything else I either tolerate or I haven't played.

Kamui does bbcs psp support on line play like the 360/ps3 if not then it is not my cup of tea. Also Kaori I hope you have calamity trigger for the 360 as well as Kamui still having it as well I would like to get even better by challanging strong opponents :) and one more thing Kaori who are your favs you too Kamui.

I used to be spiteful of the street fighter type games as they just featured two opponents fighting in an arena rather then the final fight type games that were of more interest to me. However street fight type games are really interesting but more on the fact that i can play around with the sprites and such  ;D

For a fighting game i'm fond of, i guess i'd have to say Arcana Heart 3. It used to be SFII, but the game gets old too quick now. though its still my favorite fighting game.

I'm still spiteful towards blazblue continuum shift though. Dunno why, maybe i'm playing it wrong. Or maybe its something i see in the game that i'm not really gonna bother explaining since there's alot of blazblue players here and i'll probably get pelted to death if i talk negative about it here, so i'll keep my mouth zipped.

Other games i'm also spiteful of are SCIV and MvC3. MvC3 because that's all my friends ever play and it gets old really quick. SCIV, too many nooby players who spam the same button over and over just to win.

The whole topic is all about games you like and don't like speak your mind I do not think you will get slamed for it, and as for sciv when I go online I can only do so much with sophitia I do not like to spam but with as little moves I can do thanks to lag I try to mix it up, but cervantes players on the other hand like to do musket to face then superman attack and that is it>:(

Its only the most hardcore Fighting game ever!... probably not, but still one of the best ever.
With controls that welcome both Pros and Newcomers, no wonder this game series is a huge success.
Sheer Simplicity to deep Combos, Every character with thier own playstyle.
Though Brawl Wasn't a worthy Successor to Melee, its still really really Fun.

Nintendo has me sold with SSB4 on Wii-U AND 3DS
