Ugh OOE.... don't get me wrong its a GREAT game, but damn, does it have to be so hard?!

Difficulty was what was missing through the last games and OoE came and gave it, but still it could get some improvements over that part and the design segment!!!

Is there any other way to get an Alexandrite aside from grinding the Large Cavern? Don't get me wrong, the Large Cavern's actually pretty easy if you know a certain tactic against the armors, it's just that it takes a long time and it gets tiring very fast. And this is the fifth pair of Minerva Greaves that I got! FIFTH!

I don't think there is any other place to get it, but I'm puzzled as to why it's taking you so many attempts.  I usually get it within three tries.

Does it hate you, or is there a stat or ring involved which increases the odds?  I don't really remember if LUCkKaffects chest contents, or if there is an item that does.

Loved the game, only thing that annoyed me was the idea of pressing one button then the other for faster attacks. Made it awkward for me. But very nice game, concept and though simple and predictable (as all cv are, nowadays), a nice story.

Awkward? I though it was awesome. Makes short work of most normal enimes.

Well, since Shanoa's luck stat will be irrelevant to my cursed luck anyway, will the treasure chest stop coughing out Minerva Greaves (or any one of the set) once I max them out in my inventory?

Alexandrite is a random drop, but if you have the rare ring, try equipping it and see if you'll have more luck!!!

That's so weird your luck is so bad. I got one of each item you can get from the chest one after another and was done with it. I never needed to grind for it.

I thought that the items you got from it was set. Never thought it was randomized. I assumed that you just got super potions after, or something.

It works for normal chests, since it increases the chances to make them rare(green) chests. Now for the chest you want, i don't know if  it's affected though.............
