Two hours for mermaid meat? Took me like... I dunno. I wasn't even looking for it. I was just killing Lorelais over and over the first time I found them and got it on like, the 23rd Lorelai or so.

NOOO! I was farming my Polkir up to level 2 for the last 30 minutes then I forgot what the doors with the red eyes on them meant!  :'(

I like the catgirls. Werecat spell is fun!  :D All the other werecats are my friends and I kill almost everything except bosses in just 2 or 3 hits, usually before they can respond.

If you play the game in Japanese, Shanoa says the same thing as Gourry Gabriev when she uses Luminato. The English version should have said, "Light come forth!" and it would have been perfect enough for me.

I think OoE is a game that has a 'perfect' sound track. It's the first castlevania where I simply loved every single little song, all the others had one or two or a few that I just didn't like.

Of course, this is my own opinion.

It was all good except the theme for the first area in the game, which is basically Yamane phoning it in.

What are you referring to? The chapel? That's an awesome theme.

You mean Blackmore? He is basically designed to rape you if you're not careful. I myself had to spam restoratives just to get past him. (And yes, I know that this is a cheap practice.) :P

It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

Or you could spam that laser + sword type glyph combination.

Thing is, I'm rather stingy with my Hearts. :-X

You must be pretty damn stingy, cause how can you even run out? I remember having enough to beat Blackmore even on lvl 1 max cap.

I've done almost 2000 on Blackmore using the laser glyph + sword glyph combination. I forget what lvl I did that at.

The glyph combination attack breaks most bosses, to be honest. Find the right one, spam it, you'll win within seconds, regardless of what mode you play or what level you're at.

Blackmore is probably one of the most interesting bosses in the entire series IMO...

Well, his sprite might not be the best, but the shadow fighting for him, is one great idea of a boss fight and a very cool design!!!

Well, it was meant to be a throwback to the classic games, so of course it's going to be hard...unless you use certain "tactics", that is. :P
