For those of you uninformed, Resident Evil will be receiving a second HD collection. This time, it will be of Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles for the PlayStation Move, being released in June.

For those of you who missed out on playing them, here's your chance! :D
Assuming you have a PS Move, that is...

Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection Announcement Trailer [HD]

Original Wii version of Darkside Chronicles.

PS3 HD Collection version of Darkside Chronicles.

So yeah. More Resident Evil. I like 2012.

Nice. I like lightgun games.

What we need now is a 3DS Outbreak compilation that combines Files 1 and 2, adds new stuff, and lets you do local co op as well as online.

Normally I'd be excited for this, but I've come to learn that the PS Move blows supreme dick. Some games calibrate the controller pretty well, like Time Crisis: Razing Storm, but House of the Dead: Overkill is fuggin' terrible and I can never get that thing to calibrate accurately.

For a system that came so many years after the Wii, you'd think they could make it, I dunno, not worse than the Wii Remote controls? 'Cos I own a few rail shooters on the Wii, and shooting is fun and accurate as can be—and best of all, there's no stupid manual calibration to be done.

Stupid, stupid EyeToy-based bullshit...

Would be cool if not for the fact that the PS Move is fucking stupid and a horrible Wii knock off.

Already have these titles on the wii and to be honest was not a big fan of them.

What capcom should do it FINALLY release the Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil zero on a non Nintendo platform.

THOSE are the games people want ported judging by the outcry around the web.

I remember seeing Resident Evil Zero at EB Games once. But like with Ys 6 I never bothered to pick it up... now I can't find it.

RE0's purdy fun.

And a part of me really wishes I could play betas of both it and Eternal Darkness on the N64. I'd pay a couple bucks to make those available.

You know what beta I'd kill to play? Resident Evil 4's with the hooked man.

Yes HD versions of those would be awesome, 2 of the very best in the series IMO.

Sooooo...anyone played this HD collection? Curious to know whether the Move shooting accuracy sucks or not. Like I mentioned before, some games it works fine, others it doesn't.

Not sure why I care so much as I own The Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii and it's not terribly exciting, but it is a little fun to pop in now and then. I just want more rail shooters.

If Darkside Chronicles is any good, I'll likely get the collection.

Haven't seen it yet. But the good news for me is that I've finally gotten RE: Zero. It does take some getting used to as you must switch between characters in order to complete the game. I'm still stuck on the train...

If Darkside Chronicles is any good, I'll likely get the collection.

Darkside Chronicles is damn good, and far more well-made than The Umbrella Chronicles. It's just it doesn't have a whole ton of side-scenarios like Beginnings and Dark Legacy from TUC.

On a side note, the collection is a damn good price, so I may buy it some time. Considering you can still use a traditional controller, I won't be going out of my way to get a Move, so can't comment on how the Move plays.

Haven't seen it yet. But the good news for me is that I've finally gotten RE: Zero. It does take some getting used to as you must switch between characters in order to complete the game. I'm still stuck on the train...
Lucky. I can't find copies of Zero anywhere. The only times I ever found them were for rent (The Wii Version) or when I didn't have money (the actual Gamecube version).

The Wii RE Archives editions are around $18–20 each on Amazon. Is that too high or don'tcha folks believe in ordering over the Internet? :p

Those Wii versions are better since they're progressive scan, if you're planning to play these on an HDTV or EDTV. It makes a pretty significant difference, although it doesn't make the BG rendering look any less low-res, lol.
